Speakers: dr Sead Alic, dr Divna Vuksanovic, dr Vlatko Ilic, mr Biljana DJorovic, Dragan Ambrozic
This panel should, in the context of researching the philosophy of media, cover the relation between globalization in the media field, and possible resistance to this phenomenon. It’s an attempt to, through alternative, guerilla, pirate and other media, question “the global media formation”, which is mostly represented by the so-called global mainstream and commercial media, and by newer media and social networks. Here, the culture of resistance is treated as an attempt of subversion of the ruling prejudices, opinions and discourses of domination.
