Exhibition is open from January 26th to 30that Magacin in Kraljevića Marka 4 at 7 PM
The artist intends to use the Magacin’s gallery space in Kraljevića Marka 4, as a public laundry for dishes. The whole process of washing the dishes is conceived as an open process during the exhibition, work in progress, where the artist in its own way with a specific update, is doing the setting on the spot.
Arion Aslani: "The whole project, the entire exhibition, is entitled by Julia Stoschek, as homage Julia Stoschek or" Invitation for Julia Stoschek, German curator and collector of the younger generation - one of the important figures when it comes to contemporary art , with an emphasis on video art and installations in the region, in Europe, namely Germany. I think that it is the best for an artist to do its presentation in its own way, through the language of art, to
present them through art, because it is exactly the language that the artist governs best. In this way, I want to draw attention to myself as artists, and thus gain the attention of Julia Stoschek professionally speaking, and as I recognized in Julia a person which truly understands and supports contemporary art today, I think I managed to find modality to official contact and thank her in this way. In any case, the intention is clear and precise, and is entirely subjective: "I invite collector and curator Julia Stoschek to pay attention to me." Today, curators and collectors represent basic link when the contemporary art production is in question. I saw this on time and therefore I found the appropriate person and the right moment for the speech. " The exhibition will be until January 30, 2010.
