30Y is an alternative Hungarian band from Pecs. It was founded in 2000 and over the next years they have became a constant artists in the clubs and regular participants of the summer music festival in Hungary.

Their first studio album was not completed until 2006, but before that, they released more of their own projects via the Internet.
First Internet Edition, entitled "Egy perccel tovább” (One more minute), was a live album released in December 2004, and the acoustic album is available since 2005 under the title "Szentimentalé” (Feelings).
30YIn February 2006, the band signed a contract with CLS Records and released their first studio album entitled "Csészényi tér" (game of words in Hungarian). Their first video clip "Egy perccel tovább" was shown on the Hungarian music channel in November 2005, and then was shown a video clip created at the time the band performed at the Festival in Sighet in year 2006. Their second studio album "Semmi SzédítÅ‘ Magasság" (Dizzying Height), was published in 2007 year, followed by releasing of the music video of songs Dadog, and the next studio album "No.4" was released in November 2008.
